Teaching Statement

I believe that people best learn how to improve their dancing, artistry, and choreography when they are encouraged to bring their true, authentic self into the studio. I am passionate about equipping students with tools that allow them to showcase their individuality through movement. I use a variety of improvisation prompts as a means to help students expand their movement vocabulary and generate choreography within their preferred genre/movement aesthetic.
